UW hs an excellent Honors program. Applying to this requires two separate essays answers:

  1. The Honors Program’s core curriculum is comprised of interdisciplinary courses, experiential learning, and reflection via a portfolio. Why do you think an interdisciplinary education is important and how do you think it will impact your undergraduate experience?
  2. What global challenge keeps you up at night? What is your responsibility towards meeting that challenge?
All lstudents have to coplete the folowing short answer essay:
Our families and communities often define us and our individual worlds.  Community might refer to your cultural group, extended family, religious group, neighborhood or school, sports team or club, co-workers, etc.  Describe the world you come from and how you, as a product of it, might add to the diversity of the University of Washington.

Do your research for this.  Look up clubs and groups at UW that you can get involved in- keep in mind that Washington  seeks to crete a community of diverse viewpoints  and backgrounds.   Talkabout how you fit in  and what makes you different
