Boston University


 Boston University(BU)  is  one of the largest universities in the USA. The university has more than 3,800 faculty members and 33,000 students, and is one of Boston's largest employers. It offers bachel or's degrees, master's degrees, and doctorates, and medical, dental, business, and law degrees through eighteen schools and colleges on two urban campuses. The main campus is situated along the Charles River in Boston's Fenway-Kenmore and Allston neighborhoods, while the Boston University Medical Campus is in Boston's South End .    Undergraduates start  in a common arts and sciences   program then can switch to the  college department of their major. The most popular majors at Boston University include: Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, Social Sciences, Health Professions and Related Programs and Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Students  run over 500 different clubs at BU. These are both academic and social in nature.

 Originally a commuter institution, it now  offers housing for all undergraduates, freshmen  are required to live on campus.   a matter  of  fact the Warren towers  is the largest non military  housing complex in the USA.
 
  In recent years  BU has invested heavily in its campus facilities  and  research. It ranked   #39 amongst   research universities and amission is selective with an acceptance rate of 35%.
