Ohio State University

Ohio StateUniversity(OSU) is the third largest university  in the USA. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 45,289, its setting is urban, and the campus size is 1,777 acres. Located in the state capital of Columbus, The Ohio State University is a sprawling school with seemingly endless opportunities for students to get involved. There are more than 1,000 clubs and organizations on campus, including about 65 fraternities and sororities.The most popular majors at Ohio State University include: Psychology, General, Finance, , Biology/Biological Sciences, and Marketing/Marketing Management,   OSU 's professional major options are particularly strong OSU has one of the top undergraduate business programs and an excellent pre-law  program as well.

   Admission to Ohio State is competitive with an acceptance rate of 50% which is   very selective for a public university OSU is the most selective pulic  university in Ohio. Ohio State ranks #54 among research universities but is in the top 20  public schools. OSU  admission says its   desired student profile is as follows:

 The supplementary essay is a Why OSU and  a Why major  short answer. You should have prepared several of these - please resist the urge to copy/paste . rewrite it for Ohio State. Its a unique place and deseres a unique response.
