University of Chicago aplication

University of Chicago application



 In yesterdays post ,  I said that the University of Chicago  is one of the best universities that  one can apply to Early Action.
 See the official page for details on admission requirements.   The university of Chicago uses the common Application . you can see my previpus posts for  ideas on the common app essays.

 Of course it should be apparent that  the application cannot  be just the common app. Chicago requires  a fairly challenging supplement with two required and one optional essay

2015-16 UChicago Supplement:

How does the University of Chicago, as you know it now, satisfy your desire for a particular kind of learning, community, and future? Please address with some specificity your own wishes and how they relate to UChicago.

Essay Option 6.

In the spirit of adventurous inquiry, pose a question of your own. If your prompt is original and thoughtful, then you should have little trouble writing a great essay. Draw on your best qualities as a writer, thinker, visionary, social critic, sage, citizen of the world, or future citizen of the University of Chicago; take a little risk, and have fun.

In the spirit of historically adventurous inquiry, to celebrate the University of Chicago’s 125th anniversary, please feel free to select from any of our past essay questions.


 I  will be discussing these options in detail over  the  next few days but its is a good time to start thinking on these lines if you want to apply by the  Nov 1 deadline.
